Lupe Leonard’s interest in interior design has been her inspiration for  creating a line of handbags and accessories under the label NIIYSA,  which mesh aesthetic as well as functional appeal.

She studied design  at Edna Manley School for the Visual and Performing Arts in Jamaica,  Parsons School of Design (New York) and Parsons School of Design  (Paris).
